What is a moderately hypertrophic non union also referred to ?
Also known as horse hoof.
What does an oligotrophic non union mean ?
No radiographic evidence of activity. Thus no callus formation/ rounding of fracture edges.
What would features of a delayed union look like ?
Fracture lines present without evidence of bridging.
What are the radiographic features of hypertrophic non union ?
Callus formation which extends from the cortical margins but does not bridge the fracture.
