Why does the SpO2 go on the right hand of a newborn?
The blood in the right hand comes from the brachiocephalic artery. Blood from this artery is 100% oxygenated because it branches off before the ductus arteriosus.
At what rate do we administer oxygen (newborn resus).
5-6 L/min
