Administer orally or by intrathecal infusion. Given with food to prevent G.I. problems.
What are some side effects of baclofen (Lioresal)
Drowsiness and dizziness may occur early in therapy. Increase sedation will occur if used with alcohol or other CNS depressants

Administer Oralee just before bedtime must get eight hours of sleep

Side effects of temazepam (Restoril)
Some paradoxical reaction may occur especially in older adults such as confusion and Anxiety. Taper drug to prevent withdrawal
Lithium therapeutic use is?
Treat acute mania and controls acute manic episodes in bipolar disorder
What should the nurse monitor the patient for a while taking lithium
Thyroid function test yearly in Monitor for signs of hypothyroidism and Goiter. Monitor serum lithium levels, should be below 1.5 mEq/L initially and below 1.0 mEq/L long term. Instruct patient to recognize signs of toxicity & notify provider NSAIDs except aspirin increased risk for toxicity
How to administer cholinergic agonist ophthalmic drops
Take care not to touch or drop the eyedropper when installing eyedrops for a patient apply clean gloves and instruct patient to wash hands before instilling eyedrops. do not apply with contact lenses
