no contact for 24 hours after scan
cerebralangiography
series of timed x rays of the cerebral circulation; like a heart cath
check for allergies, monitor bun, uo, maintain hydration, hold metformin
bed rest for about 4-6 hours after
EEG
records electrical brain activity
hold sedatives and stimulants
do not make them NPO- drop in glucose could affect brain electricity
