22
Q

division of CN 5 go thru which foramens?

A

V1- superior orbital fissure
V2- foramen rotundum
V3- foramen ovale

23
Q

things in the cavernous sinus

A

CN3,4,V1, V2,6, postgang. symph fibers en route to orbit.
internal carotid A.

V1 and V2 control extraoccular muscles.

24
Q

CN V3 motor lesion

A

Jaw TOWARDS side of lesion.

25
Q

CN 10 lesion

A

uvula deviates/points AWAY from side of lesion. ex if uvula points to R, lesion is on the L CN 10.

weak side collapses and uvula points away.

26
Q

CN 11 lesion

A

weakness turning head to contralat. side of lesion (SCM). shoulder droops on side of lesion.

ex. L SCM contracts to help turn the head to the R.

27
Q

CN 12 lesion (LMN)

A

tongue TOWARDS side of lesion. lick your wounds.
