Guillain-Barre Syndrome
> 8 weeks: Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP)
2 Guillain-Barre Syndrome variants
AIDP- Acute Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (85-90%)
MFS- Miller Fisher syndrome (5%) - a chronic GBS involving the cranial nerves.

85% achieve full functional recovery; may take up to 1 year though
