A

Regulates involuntary bodily processes.
Made up of Sympathetic nervous system and parasympathetic nervous system.

6
Q

Proprioceptors.

A

Signals coming from our moving bodies that enable us to respond to the space around and react rapidly in changing circumstances. Unreliable in flight.

A

Located in the skin, respond to mechanical stimuli that result from physical interaction, like pressure, vibration or other tension.

12
Q

Sensory threshold.

A

Weakest stimulus that a sensory organ can sense.
Raising the threshold means lowering the sensitivity and visa versa.
Fatigue - raises thresh hold, lower sensitivity, dangerous.
