Superomed: Semitendinosus & Semimembranosus Superolat: Biceps femoris Inferomed: Med head of gastroc Inferolat: Lat head of gastroc NOTE: popliteal artery is the deepest structure in the fossa and descends from the upper med side. The fossa also contain popliteal vein and sciatic nerve plus its two terminal branches; tibial and common fibular nerve.

External iliac artery –> Femoral artery (+deep artery of thigh) –> Popliteal artery which splits into ant tib (-> dorsalis pedis) + post tib (Med & lat plantar arteries)
Branch of post tib artery -> fibular artery
Fibular artery descneds within FHL (Harry) on MED side of fibular
Supplies: M in post & lat comp of leg.
What is the difference between a dermatome, myotome & cutaneous innervation?
Dermatome: Area of skin supplied by a single spinal cord level or on one side, by a single spinal nerve.
Cutaneous innervation: Area of skin supplies by a spesific peripheral n!
