Q

HOW ARE IMPULSES TRANSMITTED FROM THE SENSORY TO THE RELAY NEURON

A
  1. The neuro transmitters diffuse across the synapse towards the relay neuron
  2. Neuro transmitters bind to the receptors on the relay neuron which then triggers the electrical impulse
  3. Once the impulse is transmitted they are released back into the sensory neuron
