A
post infectious glomerulonephritis chronic infections - HIV, Hepatitis B and C, CMV drugs - ACE-I and NSAIDs Auto-immune diseases - SLE HUS Toxins - mercury vasculitis - HSP

Complications
A
infections - capsulated organisms like s pneumoniae
thrombosis
hernias
volume depletion and acute renal failure
decreased levels of carrier proteins leads to
= hypothyroidism, rickets, iron deficiency
