  • Age: 5-8 days
  • Tests for:
    • Phenylketonuria (PKU)
    • Congenital hypothyroidism (TSH)
      • a/w cretinism
    • Sickle cell disease
    • Cystic fibrosis
      • Immunoreactive trypsinogen (IRT)
    • Medium Chain Acyl Co-A Dehydrogenase Deficiency (MCADD)
    • Duchenne muscular dystrophy
