Personal management skills can significantly influence resource management in a variety of ways, as it can optimise an individual’s or an organization’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

For example planning and organising can help an individual achieve their goals by allowing them to set priorities and manage their time efficiently which can reduce stress as an individual feels control their life.

Gender construction is the concept that society and culture create gender roles and these roles are prescribed as ideal or appropriate behaviours for a person.

E.g the expectation that women are solely responsible for household management can limit their career opportunities and personal growth, while the assumption that men are inherently better at financial management can discourage women from taking control of their finances.

Avoiding expressing opinions & feelings

Involves identifying the problem or issue, assessing what resources are at the individual’s disposal
and assessing the most effective way to resolve to issue
