A

Human resources are infinite and non-human resources deteriorate, so it is essential to conserve resources.

Conservation and sustainability practices reduce wastage and ensure resources can be used for longer.

For non-human resources we have to reduce our use STRATEGY=Reuse,Reduce,Share
E.g: Non-Human resources like paper and ink cartridge can be recycled to avoid waste and depletion of resources.

For Human resources we build on or enhance these skills and personal assets

E,g: education is a strategy to conserve resources it can foster knowledge, confidence and intelligence.
Also provides us with strategies to enhance other resources and increase longevity

What are the advantages and disadvantages of interviews as a primary research method

A

ADVANTAGES:
- Qualitative and Quantitative results can be obtained

  • Includes verbal and non verbal communication
  • Greater depth of info can be gathered
  • Cater to a variety of literacy levels

DISADVANTAGES:
- Can be time consuming to plan,conduct and collate data.
- Participants may not always answer truthfully.

Language barriers can create difficulty

  • Data is harder to compare with other results.

What is constructing, conducting and recording as a primary research method?

A

Constructing:

A constructed, structured conversation where one participant asks questions and the other provides answers.

  • Researcher should study the topic beforehand
  • Questions must be relevant, concise, free from bias and unambiguous.

Conducting:
- The researcher will need to introduce themselves and the purpose of the interview whilst being polite.

Recording:
- The researcher needs to record all answers and data either written, audio or video. This ensures accuracy.

Structured:
More formal with the questions specifically structured and ordered.

Unstructured:
Informal, like a discussion between two people.
