What are its symptoms/characteristics?

An invasive infection of deep subcutaneous tissue and fascia with extensive and rapid spreading necrosis.
Redness, oedema and pain
It can occur after wound infection

A
Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes

What is the treatment for necrotising fasciitis?
A
Surgical debridement of necrotic tissue and antibiotic treatment (likely flucloxacillin)
