Cocker Spaniel
Good length, strong and muscular, free from throatiness, slightly arched, tapering towards head.

Rather long, muscular and lean, slightly arched at crest, and clean cut where it joins head, towards shoulder larger and very muscular never throaty nor pendulous below throat, but elegant in appearance.

Length in harmony with the general appearance of the dog, progressively thickening towards the body. Very muscular and slightly crested nape. Tight fitting skin of throat.

Gordon Setter
Long, muscular, slightly arched, springing cleanly from shoulders and free from throatiness.
Pointer
Moderately long, very muscular, but not too thick, slightly arched, free from throatiness.
Irish Red and White Setter
Medium length, free from throatiness and flowing into well laid-back shoulders. Of sufficient length to enable the dog to pick up game on the move when retrieving. Strong and carried high when alert.
Murray River Retriever
Moderately long, very muscular but not too thick, slightly arched and free from all tendency to throatiness, setting cleanly without a break of topline into shoulders.
Irish Setter
Strong, muscular, lean, of oval cross section; well set off from the nape and absolutely free from dewlap, slightly arched. In males the perimeter of the neck can reach the double of its length. The length of the neck is a little less than the total length of the head.
Lagotto Romagnolo
Powerful, in truncated cone shape, length not less than 2/3 of the length of the head, well detached from the nape. The throat shows a soft double dewlap.
Bracco Italiano
Long, muscular, clean in throat, neatly set into sloping shoulders.
Welsh Springer Spaniel
Noble in appearance and carriage. Upper line arched in profile. Muscular, nearly round, not too short, clean. Becoming stronger towards the shoulders and merging harmoniously into the topline and chest.
Weimaraner
Of medium length, strongly muscled. Slightly arched napeline, clean cut throat, no dewlap.
