What are some modifiable risk factors for NCDs?

Alcohol
Diet
Insufficient PA

Describe Type 1 diabetes
Where the pancreas produces little or no insulin
Born with
Describe type 2 diabetes

How does PA affect diabetes
PA is an effective prevention for type 2 diabetes
What is COPD?
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: A group of lung conditions which are characterised by airway obstruction = makes it harder to move air in and out as you breather = harder to take in O2 and remove CO2
What is a cancer?

What cancers does PA have a strong link with?
Breast
Liver
Kidney
Digestive tract cancers
What is arthritis?
