Tachycardia, palpitations, vasodilation/facial flushing, dysphoria, vertigo, dizziness, lack of concentration, depersonalization
Glucocorticoid
Nausea in patients with cancer – suppresses prostaglandin production and tumor inflammation
Dexamethasone
Substance P receptor antagonist
Used with other anti-emetics for acute and delayed nausea and vomiting assoc with chemo, post-operative
Aprepitant
SE of Aprepitant
Fatigue, nausea, constipation, hiccups
Dopamine 2 receptor antagonist
Used for diabetic gastroparesis, gastroesophageal reflux
Metoclopramide
SE of Metclopramide
Tardive dyskinesia, dystonias
