NATOPS Type Things Flashcards
OEI Contingency Power
The 419 engine has a one-engine inoperative (OEI) contingency rating of **5,000 shp at 100 percent Nf (157 percent torque) **on a 32 °C day at sea level conditions for two minutes, followed by one hour of operation at maximum continuous rated power. 419 engines may reach as high as 105 percent Ng and 925 °C during OEI operations. This contingency power shall only be used in the event of an OEI situation.
