Seating Limitiations

A
  1. Use of Sonobuoy Launcher window is prohibited
  2. A max of 4 seats may be occupied in any configuration. Litter installation prevents use of SO console and Instructor seat
  3. Starboard rear seat may be installed if diping sonar removed. Center seat may installed if sonar, sono, and rast probe are removed. Port rear seat may be installed if dipping sonar and sono are removed.
  4. LHEP should be removed for SAR missions
  5. Dedicated SAR in ASW config with ALFS is not recommended
  6. SAR with LHEP installed is not recommended

-SO console seat poses a head strike hazard to port and center rear seat. SO console seat shall be unoccupied.
-Only a simula seat shall be installed in instructor seat position
-Instructor seat shall not be occupied if GAU-21 is inboard stow
-Center rear seat shall be removed if RAST probe installed
-Center rear seat shall be unoccupied if conducting VERTREP
-Simula seat should be removed during flights not requiring its use.
