What does the stem indicate?
A
Stem indicates longest carbon chain present in the compounds. Prefix before stem, suffix after.

Where are hyphens and commas used?
A
Separate numbers by commas, and hyphens between words and numbers.

How are Di, Ti etc used?
A
Di=Two identical groups, Tri=Three identical groups, Tetra=Four identical groups.
