Taxonomy is the science of classification especially the classification of biological organisms.

What does nomenclature mean?
A
Naming of plants i.e. common names and scientific names

What is meant by a Binominal system?
A
Genus plus specific epithet - genus = Capitalized. Specific epithet = lower case and together make a species name. Both are either italicised or underlined.
