treatment of tetanus

A

Surgical debridement.
Antitoxin.
Supportive measures ( early intubation, beta blockers, avoid light, benzodiazepines for reflex spasms, some need neuromuscular blockade, magnesium sulphate)
Antibiotics for 7 to 10 days (controversial)
Penicillin
Metronidazole
Booster vaccination……..toxoid.
