Thymus abnormalities in patients with MG ?
A
In appr. 65% of patients the thymus is hyperplastic
but not necessarily enlarged. An additional 10% of patients have thymic tumors (thymomas).

A
In women in their twenties and thirties and in men in their fifities and sixties.

Bulbar weakness.

Patients with LEMS have depressed or absent reflexes and experience autonomic changes such as dry mouth and impotence.
