Myasthenia gravis
Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a long-term neuromuscular disease that leads to varying degrees of skeletal muscle weakness.[1] The most commonly affected muscles are those of the eyes, face, and swallowing.[1] It can result in double vision, drooping eyelids, trouble talking, and trouble walking.[1] Onset can be sudden.[1] Those affected often have a large thymus gland or develop a thymoma.[1]
Schilders disease
Schilder’s disease is a rare condition that usually starts in childhood. It’s most common in boys between 7 and 12 years old.
It’s a problem with the body’s myelin. Later, symptoms might include:
Headache Difficulty with speech Personality changes Vomiting Attention issues Problems with balance Memory issues Seizures Tremors Incontinence Muscle weakness, particularly on one side of the body Issues with hearing and vision Irritability Slowness of movement As the disease gets worse, symptoms can get more serious. For example:
Gradual loss of awareness and responsiveness
Trouble with bowel and bladder control
Malnutrition
Respiration, blood pressure, and heart rate problems
