Muscles of Facial Expression Flashcards
What are the 5 facial muscles used in facial expression?
Occipitofrontalis - forehead Orbicularis Oculi - around eye socket Buccinator - cheek muscles Orbicularis Oris - around the mouth Platysma - along the chin and neck
they are all innervated by the facial nerve CN V11 or CN 7
