A
it is formed from the ventral rami C1 - 4
- loops attaching to one and other
- Overlies the middle scalene muscle, deep to SCM

A
it supplis the cutaneous skin of the posterior lateral neck and scalp.
arises from vertebral C2/3

A
supplies the skin over the angle of the mandible to the chin. arises from C2/3

A
it supplies the skin of the anterior triangle

supplies the skin over the anterolateral neck and shoulders

what are the muscular branches of the cervical plexus
A
- hypoglossal nerve (Cn XII) supplies the hyoid muscles
- SCM - Accessory nerve (Cn XI) (C2/3)
- Traps - Accessory nerve (Cn XI) (C3/4)
