The function of the cardiac muscle is it contracts the heart, the blood is moved into the circulatory system.
The location of the cardiac muscle are the walls of the heart.

The function the smooth muscle is it propels substances or objects (e.g food, blood, urine, etc) along internal passageways which is involuntary control.
The location of the smooth muscle are the walls of hollow organs, e.g stomach, intestines and the bladder.
