Describe an ATOM and its level in the organisation of the human body.
An atom is the smallest unit of matter that forms a chemical element, an element that exist on its own, e.g O2, N and H.
It is the FIRST level of organisation

A molecule is a group of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds, e.g H2O and CO2

A cell is the basic structural and functional unit of any living thing, the first living level of organisation.
It is the THIRD level of organisation
Describe a TISSUE and its level in the organisation of the human body.
A tissue are made out of cells that are combined together to perform a specific function, e.g epithelial, connective, muscles and nervous tissues.
It is the FOURTH level of organisation
Describe an ORGAN and its level in the organisation of the human body.
An organ is a combination/collection of tissues working together to serve a specific function, e.g lungs
It is the FIFTH level of organisation
Describe an ORGAN SYSTEM and its level in the organisation of the human body.
An organ system is a group of organs that function together to perform a specific outcome/function, e.g respiratory system
It is the SIXTH level of organisation
Describe an ORGANISM and its level in the organisation of the human body.
An organism is a living thing, a combination of all systems that make up an organism.
It is the SEVENTH/LAST level of organisation
