Q

Name all the abductors of the upper limb

A
  1. Long head of m. biceps brachii
  2. The deltoid muscle
  3. M. supraspinatus
(trapezius + serratus m. can help the movement as well)

Q

what is the main elevator of the upper limb?

A

M. serratus anterior, helped by the: m. trapezius + m. pectoralis minor. The movement is dependent on the sternoclavicular + the acromioclavicular joints. This movement is basically a continuation of the previous abduction

Q

muscles that perform the anteversion of the upper limb?

A

those are:

  1. The clavicular fibers of the deltoid + some of the fibers of the acromial part,
  2. m. biceps brachii
  3. m. pectoralis major
  4. coracobrachialis
