Describe Osteosarcoma:

A
  • primary bone tumor in children and young adults
  • arise in the metaphases on long bones (eg, proximal tibia, distal femur), where bone proliferation is the highest
  • causes Periosteal elevation (ei Codman triangle) and a sunburst periosteal reaction
