So, what does it relate to be a pharmacist?

A

So, as a pharmacist I need to know about the basics of CAM and relate them while treat the patient
We need to know which product they are using
We need to identify the risk and benefits for the use of our patient
Some medicine has side effect with CAM, or some CAM has same effect with conventional medicine which can be lethal for patient.
For example, warfarin has blood thinning effect, but ginger and garlic also have blood thinning effect.
