By that time, he was already preforming for nobles so he, his father and his sister embarked on a three year journey around Europe to expose the Mozarts to new musical styles and composers. After a brief return to Salzburg, they travelled even more, even having Mozart attend a famous academy, but did not find any jobs for the young prodigy. So, he became the concert master in Salzburg. Travelling even more for a position, Mozart went to Germany and France where he finally got a single commission and soon quit his Salzburg job.
