James-Lange theory
Experiencing an emotion as a result of perceiving a bodily responds to arousing stimuli
Cannon-Bard theory
We feel both emotion and bodily responses due to arousing stimuli
Schacter-Singer theory
Stimuli trigger a state of socio-logical arousal, but the emotional experience depends on interaction between the bodily responses and cognitive interpretation of the stimulus
