Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder
Severe Recurrent temper outbursts manifest verbally and behaviorally that are grossly out of proportion in duration and intensity.
Mood between outbursts is irritable and angry
Present for 12 months
Age of onset before 10
Major Depressive Disorders (Criteria)
Five or More symptoms present for 2 weeks nearly every day.

Persistent Depressive Disorder
Depressed mood most of the day for more days than not for 2 years.
Premenstrual Dysphoric Depressive Disorder
Week before period you have 5 depression symptoms. Improves after start menses. Yeah
Substance Induced Depressive Disorder.
Disturbance in mood that occurs soon after intoxication/withdrawal/exposure to a substance or medication.
Alcohol, blood pressure meds, steroids, OCP’s, etc.
Depressive Disorder due to Another Medical Condition
Direct pathophysiological effect of another medical condition.
Is Not Delerium.
CVA. Huntington’s. Parkinson’s. TBI. Cushing’s. Hypothyroidism.
Interpersonal Therapy
Issues with disputes, transitions, or grief are addressed. Relationships are the protection or the root of the depression.
Cognitive Therapy
How we think of ourselves and the world dictates or feelings and behavior
Behavior Therapy
Depression can be counteracted with behavioral changes which increase positive reinforcements.

Efficacy is superior to antidepressants
