What is gender binary?
The spectrum based classification of gender into the two categories of either man or woman based on biological sex

An inner sense of oneself as man, woman, masculine, feminine, neither, both or fluid

A term used to describe gender identity that doesn’t conform to traditional gender norms
What is chancroid?
A rare form of genital ulceration
How is chancroid treated?
Antibiotics, contact tracing, no sexual contact for 7 days after treatment

What can untreated STIs lead to?
Infertility, organ damage, certain types of cancer or death

Priority populations for STIs include
Young people (15-29), indigenous people, MSM, sex workers, culturally and linguistically diverse, travellers, people in custodial settings
How are HPV and cervical cancer related?
If the body doesn’t clear a HPV infection, it can cause changes to cells in the cervix which may develop into cancer
How long does untreated HPV usually take to turn into cervical cancer
10-15 hrs
HPV treatment
The immune system will clear it most of the time. There is no treatment.
