Describe community capacity building
-involves identifying and working with existing community strengths to promote a positive view of the community
-helping communities become stronger based on their strengths rather than letting their weaknesses define them
What is asset mapping?
-identifying community-based assets such as individuals, local associations, businesses, public institutions (schools, libraries, fire stations), nonprofit organizations, and the community’s physical characteristics

What is the difference between a CHN change agent and a CHN change partner?
Agent– roles involve gathering and analyzing facts, and implementing programs
Partner– roles involve being a catalyst for change, teaching problem solving, and being an advocate/activist
