Module 2- exploiting RFIs Flashcards
What was the methodology of building timing-tells exploits?
- Gather data: Saulo made hundreds of students to play in a grind simulator
- Use the solver to model the exploits
- Study the output of the solver
How did the BU’s range differ when Saulo’s students snapped vs tanked RFI BU?
While the holdings are the same in total, snap range leaned more towards a stronger range, and tank range leaned more towards a weaker range.
What’s the solver adjustment vs a snap RFI range?
What does Saulo recommend?
Solver slightly adjusts by playing tighter- folding mixed strategy hands, 3-bet less, in general fold more. BB vs sb snap, the range because more linear.
Saulo recommends playing a very linear range and get rid of all the offsuit garbage hands like J9o etc.
What’s the max expoloit vs a tank open?
3-bet a shit-ton load of hands, BB vs BU 3-bets 95% of hands, BB vs SB tank literally 3-bets 100% of hands,
BU vs CO 3-bets 70% of hands (BU has to account for SB and BB waking up with a real hand)
What the soft-exploit vs a tank-open?
shift mixed strategies (sometimes call sometimes 3-bet) to pure 3-bet,and call every hand that is mixed between call/fold
