what is the sociological imagination
provides us with a lens. move beyond the individual and look at what could be making the individual experience things the way that they are. The world is shaping the individual as they experience it and vice versa
example of sociological imagination
Health / weight - easy to say that it is a personal choice but there are many other factors that could fit into it. such as poverty, education, media.
