To talk about experiences (where time isn’t important).

Repeated actions that have been repeated up to the present time.

Present Perfect forms: 3 types with examples.
“has/have been” and “-ed/irregular”
Affirmative: I have been to China.
Negative: I haven’t been to China.
Interrogative: Have you ever been to China?
We use this tense when the speaker is looking back from the present to a period in the past.
The period is continuing at the moment of speaking or has recently stopped and is relevant to the present time.
It has been snowing. (It has stopped snowing, but there is still snow on the ground)
Why have you been crying? (The crying has stopped, but there is evidence of crying from their red eyes)
