A

Country-specific Security Cooperation Sections (CSCS). CSCSs directly support the accomplishment of the CCDRs’ IMOs and the U.S. ambassadors’ Integrated Country Strategies (ICS).

21
Q

Why is it important for ARSOF NCOs to understand how their actions fit into operational and strategic framework?

A

In the increasingly complex and challenging emerging operational environment, ARSOF NCOs must arm themselves with the requisite knowledge to understand how their tactical actions can at times have strategic impact or represent strategic failure. Recognizing how a unit’s mission fits into the overarching strategic direction can help better inform one’s decisions on the ground.
