Q

What happens during mitosis?

4 steps

A
  1. Chromosomes multiply themselves
  2. Sub cellular structures in the cell replicate e.g ribosomes and mitochondria
  3. Each copy goes to the opposite ends of the cell
  4. Cell divides and produces 2 daughter cells that have the same number of chromosomes.
