Mitosis is
A
The creation of two identical daughter cells through asexual reproduction.

What is the order of the cell cycle
A
It goes interphase
Then (mitosis)
(Prophase,metaphase,anaphase,telophase)
and cytokinesis

Interphase
A
The DNA is copied and each chromosome gains a new “arm”

Prophase
A
The chromosomes condense, they gat shorter and fatter. The membrane around the nucleus breaks down.

Metaphase
A
The chromosomes line up in the center of the cell

Anaphase
A
Cell fibres pull the chromosomes apart and the two arms are at either end of the cell

Telophase
A
The membranes form around the chromosomes and form two nuclei of the two new cells.

Cytokinesis
A
This is at the very end of telophase, the cytoplasm and cell membrane divide to form two separate cells
