What is a workstation?
Computer connected to a network
What is a file server?
A networked computer that provides large amounts of shared storage, can be accessed by workstations on the same network
What is a user identity?
Username can identify you and distinguish between users who access or use it. Used within an IT system.
What is a password?
A string of characters that a user can use to log onto a network or computer to access certain files.
What does log on mean?
To use a username and password to gain access to a network of files on a computer.

What is a search engine?

Browser keeps list of web pages previously visited. User controls how long they are kept.
What are tabs?
Allows users to browse web pages in the same window.
What is private browsing?
Any websites visited aren’t stored. No cookies or internet files are stored on the computer either. Useful when using public computers to not leave data behind.
