A

Transvaginal ultrasound: Look for foetal components, heartbeat, gestational sac, yolk sac, or fetus.

Speculum exam: Observe cervix opening.

Blood tests: Beta hCG levels measured 48 hours apart:
- Drop → Indicates miscarriage
- Slight increase/plateau → Indicates ectopic pregnancy
