Established in 1624. Founded by James Duke of York and Peter Stuyvesant. Founded because of Expansion and Trading. Their money-makers are trading, lumber, farming, fur trading, and fishing.
Pennsylvania
Established in 1644. Founded by William Penn because of expansion and religion (Quakers). Their money-makers are trading and farming.
New Jersey
Established in 1630. Founded by George Carteret because of expansion, trading, and religion (Quakers). Their money-makers are trading and farming.
Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon
Hired to determine the boundary between Pennsylvania and Maryland, and that line becomes the Mason-Dixon Line.
