Background: Massachusetts government taxed the poor due to a war debt, and when the Government did not listen, Daniel Shay organized a Rebellion
Action: Daniel Shay led 1200 people into the Federal Arsenal in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Militia ended the Rebellion soon after.
Results: After the Rebellion, Washington starts to call for changes to the Article of Confederation. He starts to think to make up a strong central government.
