A

Founder of Rhode Island. Wants separation of Church and State. He was a former minister for the Church of England. When he came to the NW in 1631, he was angry at them at taking the Native American’s land, and wants them to pay. The citizens want him to go to England, but he goes to RI and then goes to England to get the charter for RI.

Anne Hutchinson

A

She is a separatist from Massachusetts Bay Colony, and went against the Church’s belief, saying that you don’t need the Church to understand the Bible, and also says that the Holy Spirit talked to her, telling her that only two or three ministers are doing a good job. She went to Rhode Island.
