What threat did Kett’s rebellion pose to London?
Reached Norwich and took it - at the time the 2nd largest city in England. Close to London geographically, militarily strong rebellion.
How easily was Kett’s rebellion dealt with?
Not at all - Marquess of Northampton sent after Norwich fell and was defeated (!) by Kett. Warwick then sent with 14,000 (!) men and defeated rebels after a few days of fighting.
What was the outcome of Kett’s rebellion?
3,000 rebels killed in battle, up to 300 hung afterwards.
