Example stain tech & prep of slides for light microscope
A
1.Prepare sample -piece of onion, 2. Remove inner layer with forceps 3. Place on glass slide 4. Add 1 drop iodine to stain cells 5. Lower coverslip with a mounted needle 6. Place it onto stage and secure with stage clips 7. Make sure small objective lens is in place, switch on light 8. Adjust focus to see cells
