How are circuits set up and how are they effective?
A series of exercises are arranged, resistance based on our body weight is used to work particular muscle groups, the duration/intensity of the exercise changes to be effective
How do aerobics work and how are they effective?
A type of cardiovascular exercise that works large muscle groups to a rhythm, makes lungs work hard to provide extra oxygen for body
How do aqua aerobics work and how are they effective?
Aerobics in water, last 30-60mins, use aerobic routines/exercises just in water, reduced risk of bone/muscle injuries bc water supports 90% of body weight, good for health of heart, lungs and burning calories
How does yoga work and how is it effective?
System of development of body mind and spirit, improves physical healthand happiness as well as peace and tranquility, helps develop strength and flexibility
How do pilates work and how are they effective?
Developed by Joseph Pilates to improve physical and mental health, focus on bodies core strength and posture through low impact stretching
